Our electricity just went out here in JP, and I thought, "Fuck. I had my computer on." Then I realized it was okay because I have a laptop. I thought for sure my internet would cut out, but no, my dial-up held.
I am writing this post by candlelight. It's kind of romantic. And it's just like how it would be if we lived on the prairie. Except for the battery-powered thinking machine and the internet and the whole sending information across gazillions of miles of wire thing. Other than that, just like the prairie.
