In my second annual listing of the best happenings of the year, I hereby declare the following:
Best TV: Arrested Development and Lost
Best CD: A latecomer, but a strong finisher: Damien Rice's O
Best Book I actually finished reading: The Brutal Language of Love, though Just a Geek is a strong second
Best Movie: Garden State (a damn good film in an otherwise unremarkable year of movies)
Best Sports Moment(s): My two favorite teams took on the mighty Goliath and kicked some ass. The Sox beat the Yankees in the ALCS (then won the Series), and BC beat UConn (then won the Big East title).
All in all, not a bad year when you think about it.
