The sun's a ball of butter

It's amazing how a little sunshine makes everything better. Well, it wasn't just the brief period of non-gloom we enjoyed today. I got in a run early; I got a great haircut; the Sox killed the Yankees; and, oh, yeah, the sun came out of hiding. It's all coming together. But in typical New England fashion, the sunshine lasted just long enough to remind us what that bright orb in the sky is, and then the rain came back.

Just in time for the finished Rain Mix 2005! It was tough to make the cuts, especially with all the great suggestions, but I did the best I could. I ended up including two Dylan songs, which normally I would frown upon, but they were just right. Bob and the rain go hand and hand. The mix was to have ended with Streisand's Don't Rain on My Parade, but the damn CD wasn't big enough. (In retrospect, I think I should have cut Madonna's Rain instead, but alas.) Just imagine it there.
