Really, I don't know why I'm a sports fan. It's killing me slowly. Okay, not even that slowly. Since I started watching sports seriously, I'm sure I've shaved a good 15 years off my life. Last night's Rose Bowl game? Killer. And I don't even like college football! I just had a feeling that Texas was going to make a comeback. And I was right.
Tonight, BC played Maryland -- ranked 6th in the nation Maryland -- and I knew it was going to be a tough game, and one BC was likely to lose. But man! They played great! Tied at the end of regulation. Overtime! I hate overtime. We ended up losing 64-67, which is actually a great showing against a really tough team. But I still wanted the win. Badly. And I'm still going to want the win tomorrow. Some day I'll learn to let go, right?
