Part the first: "Nixon really hit that bitch." What I heard/would have said after Trot belted a 2-run homer in tonight's 14-8 thrashing of the Orioles.
What Jerry Remy said: "Nixon really hit that pitch."
Though, with the antics of Jerry and Don, I wouldn't have been that surprised had Remy actually said bitch. (My favorite part of the evening? Remy is comparing Don to some balding older man, and the two of them are laughing through the top of the sixth inning, whilst the Red Sox enjoy a 11-0 lead. Don says, "What did Loretta do? Walk?" Remy replies, "I don't know." Classic!)
