Music to my ears

I can't stop listening to Amy Millan's Honey From the Tombs. I'd never heard of Millan until I saw her mentioned on Pop Candy, and I clicked over to her site, where you can listen to the entire album. Sweet! Seriously, how is this not the greatest idea for unknown artists? Anyway, clearly I liked what I heard because I went out and bought my own damn copy. She reminds me a little of Alison Krauss and Lucinda Williams, with some Rachael Yamagata thrown in. Or maybe Anna Nalick. Good stuff. But, Jesus, I listen to too much chick music. Tune in next week when I review some Audioslave or something.
