Last night, I watched Kicking and Screaming (no, not the soccer one). It had been mentioned in the blogosphere a bit lately, and I thought it sounded good. As I'm watching it, I think, "Huh. This seems familiar. Maybe that's just because Parker Posey acts the same in almost every movie. God, I loved Party Girl." Bygones. As the movie continued, I realized it seemed familiar because I had already seen it before. Hello, did I really think I was going to let an Eric Stoltz movie pass me by in 1995? I don't think so. I was still heavily into my Some Kind of Wonderful phase. (Though, really, does anyone actually get over Some Kind of Wonderful? I don't think so. Also, it was bugging me the entire movie where I knew Chris Eigeman from, and it took me forever to realize he played basically the same guy in Gilmore Girls.)
The point is this: I've reached the stage in my life where I've seen so many movies, I can't remember them anymore. I am old. Though, apparently, I do have good taste in film.
