Yes! Tennessee won the national championship. I feel like there should be all manner of exclamation marks here, but I'm trying to refrain. Parker was, of course, Parker, but I'm with the ESPN guys on this one -- Nicky Anosike was a big reason the Lady Vols won. So much effort and heart, crashing the boards and using her size to defend on the perimeter. Oh, hell, they were all great, including little Bobbitt (what a pain in the ass she must be to play against) and Spencer with her freaky white and orange mouthguard.
I'm finally back from Chicago, but my recap will have to wait until later. I'm going to revel in victory for now -- we drink from the keg of glory!
