You don't see that every day

I'm fixated on the spectacular bruise on my middle finger. I tried to take a picture, but even the macro setting didn't do it justice. I slammed it in a drawer yesterday, and you have no idea how much that freaking hurt. It's right on the top knuckle, below the nail, and it hurt to bend it yesterday. Luckily, however, it has not interfered with my ability to play Rock Band nor my ability to use sign language.
