The summer ends and we wonder where we are

I can't believe how quickly summer has gone by. Several trips and a few life upheavals will do that to you. Since last we spoke, I left one job only to be asked to return to another. So, you know, with the busy. But I make no excuses! (Total lie. I make a zillion a day. Mostly to do with why it's okay to eat a waffle with whipped cream in the middle of the workday. Bygones.) So, in sum: Quit job. Went to Boston/Ohio. Got a new job. Came home. Went to new job. Worked. And somewhere amidst all that, summer came and went. Sure, there are a few fleeting days left, but they exist only to make you miss what has already passed you by.
