Sunshine on my shoulders

It’s sunny today. Which is awesome. Except it’s a weekday. And I’m stuck in my cubicle all day. And tomorrow? Tomorrow it will rain. And be grey. With rain. Sunday? More rain. With the grey. And the rain. And you know, most days I’m fine with this. It is the Pacific Northwest; rain is to be expected. Except it’s finally spring (sort of), and I want some fucking sunshine. I want spring-green leaves on trees. Rhododendrons in bloom. Sun. Going outside without three layers of protective Goretex. The usual.
