I couldn't believe that I actually saw wild turkeys on Thanksgiving, but I did. Unfortunately, I also couldn't believe that I didn't bring my camera cord, so there was no downloading to be had whilst in the wilds of New Hampshire.
I brought my dad back to JP last night so as to ease the transition to the airport this morning, and about five minutes after we walk through the door, the power went out. Thanks a lot, NStar. My dad and I spent the remainder of the evening playing cards by candlelight. As I may have mentioned earlier, I'm hardly a card shark, but I thought I could hold my own. When my dad was ahead of me by 200 points, I complained that he was supposed to let me win, to hold back a little. To which he replied, "I am." Thanks, Dad.
