The days blur like raindrops

Up a tree
My Florida vacation was far too short; the days ran together too quickly, too easily. It was so good to see my little sister again, though strange to see her with a real, live grown-up life.

Florida was beautiful, and sunny, and fabulous. The palm trees come in forests down there, which is somehow surprising. There are also supposed to be a lot of geckos, but I didn't see any. I'm a little bitter. I did get to see a spring training game (which is really fun because you are thisclose to the players), and I experienced just a taste of the Magic Kingdom (which was also fun, but exhausting). I'm glad to be home, where there is the threat of torrential rain and a nip in the air. It just feels right.
