It's just like I saved the world, but without all the boring heroics

My sister made haddock for dinner tonight. And I tried it. Now, I don't usually like fish. You know, unless it's cut up real small and heavily fried. With tartar sauce. And it's not that I didn't like the haddock. Dawn did an excellent job with it, but something was just ... not what I wanted. But the point is this: I tried it. Also, the point is, my sister is a good cook and made me my first real meal since I got back from vacation. And it wasn't soup! So that was exciting. And I got to drive to New Hampshire in the 100-degree heat with no AC. So I listened to Slim the whole way. It made me feel better about being so sweaty.

And eating fish made me feel virtuous. All in all, not a bad day's work.
