Nice glass

We went to the Tacoma Museum of Glass yesterday, which was pretty cool. My favorite exhibit was the Lino Tagliapietra, especially Endeavor. We spent a lot of time in the Hot Shop, which is amazing to watch and very, very hot. I can't even imagine actually working next to the ovens. We saw two different projects -- one of which was eventually a heart and the other was a little piece of log. They have a special guy whose job involves donning a silver suit with mask and gloves to catch the glass when they break it off from the rod. Don't drop it now, dude.
