I worked from 8 a.m. until 8:45 p.m. today -- with breaks only for lunch, dinner, and an episode of Top Chef. As a freelancer, I'm so out of practice with working late, but when the deadline is nigh (or the paying partner of the freelance relationship messes up and needs you to fix something fast), shit's got to get done. I had to bail on a movie with the kids, so the Spiderwick Chronicles will have to wait for Netflix, but on the bright side, once the work was over, I got to finish my Top Chef marathon. Thank god, Tiffani didn't win.
