I got lots done today, including but not limited to making dinner at 2 p.m. You have to love slow cookers! In fact, the Eating Well Hungarian beef goulash was delicious -- I left out the caraway seeds because Jen reminded me that I don't, in fact, like them. Other things I learned from this recipe? Hungarian paprika is different from regular paprika. Who knew? Well, perhaps the Hungarians. Bygones. I cooked, I worked, I potted a plant. I'm spent.
