One down, many to go

I finished Sense and Sensibility last night. There were few mysteries there, as I had already read it (not to mention multiple movie viewings), but I was kind of surprised by how little it moved me in the end. I've read Pride and Prejudice many times (and today, I begin it once more), and each time, I've come away loving it. (In fact, when I'm sick, I often got to P&P or Anne of Green Gables to feel better.) Not so with S&S -- perhaps it was too broad? Marianne too overdone? Elinor too reserved? I'm not sure. I'm really looking forward to getting started on some Jane that I haven't already read (Mansfield Park, I'm looking at you) to get a good gauge on how much I actually like Austen's writing.
