Cinema verite

I was going to do a post of my favorite movies of 2009 (continuing our year-end theme here at bjg), but I realized I haven't actually seen that many movies recently. And certainly not that many movies that actually came out in 2009. My sad year-end ritual involves sitting down with my Entertainment Weekly "bests" issue and loading up my Netflix queue. When did I stop going to the movies? I love the movies. Maybe I should make a resolution that involves getting my ass to the cinema? I was going with "reduce fat ass" and blog more as my main resolutions, but I think the movies could fit right in there. Along with "improve rank in Modern Warfare 2."
