We had a little home improvement moment this weekend, wherein the hideous pillars that have been darkening my entrance way were destroyed! Okay, really, just taken down and taken away, with minimal destruction. But I'm betting that once the contractor guy carted them away, they were destroyed! Crushed! Humiliated for their hideousness! Bygones. This is just step one in my plan for world domination, er, home improvement. Next, comes hardwood floors throughout! Sure, J.R. says replacing the water heater comes next, but what does he know? He still thinks we're not getting new countertops anytime soon.
