Spellbound

Because I'm always looking for new books to read, my little sister recommended I try the Spellman series by Lisa Lutz. So last week I bought The Spellman Files. And I loved it -- funny, sharp, with just enough real emotion to get you hooked. So I picked up the second book. Then the third. Finally, I was caught up to the latest, just out in hardback, so I figured I'd cool it. I had enough Izzy Spellman for now. Nope. Yesterday, I was all, "Um, so can we swing by Barnes & Noble, honey?" Like J.R. didn't know what was coming after that. I can't help it! I'm addicted! I don't know what I'm going to do when I'm done with this book. I will be sad and alone, lost and forlorn, without my family of sarcastic, blackmailing, crazy private investigators to keep me company.

Do you think I'd like these books? Right now I'm reading a mystery by P.D. James, it's pretty good. mom
