Don't mess around with gender roles

There may be a reason why women cook in the kitchen and men watch football in another room. I tried the "cook and watch football" route this afternoon and wasn't quite successful. Dawn wanted to know if I was done making the mashed potatoes, and I wanted to know if Dallas had a first down. She had to tell me three times that the milk was heated, and I asked Dave three times if Bledsoe had thrown another interception. In the end, I think my mashed potatoes were yummy, but Dawn was one more "C'mon! Third and 1 and they can't get a down?!" away from killing me. And f-ing Denver won in OT. Luckily, I could drown my sorrows in mashed potatoes.
