Just in the nick of time, Juno has become my favorite movie of the year. If we had waited another day, it would have to be my favorite film of '08 and that's not really saying a whole helluva lot now, is it? Actually, now that I think of it, saying it's my favorite of '07 doesn't mean a lot either, since I can't think of any other movies that I really loved, unless you count Enchanted or the Bourne Ultimatum, which I guess I should. Now I feel like I should read through my archives to see if I loved other movies, but I've just forgotten them. (Yes, I am now that old. And strange.)
Bygones. The point is, Juno is an excellent movie. Funny, sweet, touching, and featuring Allison Janney, which is reason enough to see just about anything. Also, I should mention that the soundtrack was awesome, and I can't believe I have to wait until next week to buy it. The end.
